Why don’t they keep more Rosetti in this library?

The painter’s works make me feel a bit uncomfortable. He always paints eyes over-large and they creep me out. *sighs* I looked, but there was only an anthology, which had three poems of hers and then the rest was Thomas Hardy, whom I loathe.
*looks at her hand, but doesn’t shake it* It’s nice to meet you, as well. Perhaps I look normal, but I think it’s what’s on the inside that counts, correct?
Jock thought the same but I always thought they have a certain charm to them. He would never let me hear the end of it. Oh no…well that won’t do at all. But then again, I would be surprised if they had a large collection of her work considering it is an asylum. The size is still impressive however.
*Her smile falters ever so slightly but she recovers easily enough, moving her hands behind her back to clasp them together.* Oh of course but I didn’t mean it like that at all. But even then, our disorders don’t define us. There’s much more to a person than just that.
No more nightmares
Okay *nods* I hope you can sleep too. Can we sleep in your room? I’m frightened of mine right now.
Well…that’s a bit hopeful. I’ll probably doze off at some points, but do wake me if I do. You know that I don’t mean it if I do nod off, don’t you? Of course we can. We can turn on all the lights in my room if you’d like as well and keep the curtains pulled back. The sky is clear tonight so we can watch the stars if you want.

Not to worry, I had the same problem when my mother first tutored me on the matter. I must admit I prefer the poetess. It’s her books I was looking for.
I’m Elden Enchant; relatively new mad-man.
I much prefer her as well; as lovely as the painter was, it’d be rather difficult to read his artwork at all. It didn’t even cross my mind to look for her books here. Was there at least one?
*She lets out a laugh and holds out a hand.* It’s lovely to meet you, Elden but you look as normal as the rest of us here.
No more nightmares
*Throws her arms around Lady* Yes! Please, I mean if you don’t mind.
*She holds her back and nods.* Of course I don’t mind at all. *She pulls back to grin.* We can make it something of a sleepover, how about that?
No more nightmares
Can’t sleep, they keep coming back.
Wendy? Did you want to stay with me tonight?

I do know Rosetti… both Rosettis in fact. The poetess and the painter. And who might you be?
Oh goodness, you had no idea how confused I was when my best friend introduced me to both of their works. It was horribly embarrassing on my part.

I’m Lady. And you are?

to-punish-the-cruel-and-unloving:
Very annoying.
You know Rossetti?

I didn’t think that anyone else but Jock would know of him!
Ugh, seventeen.
*shakes her head and grabs Lady’s hand* No, no, I’m sure I’ll love it. I bet it will make me feel a lot better about this dreadful day. Oh well, I opened up my door this morning and I nearly slipped on this. *pulls birthday card out and hands it to her*
I’m so confused, he hates-or hated me. Love always? Your Oli?
*She smiles.* Well I do hope that’s the reaction that I get from you. I wouldn’t want to make you upset over something that’s supposed to be good. *She takes the card and examines it* Oh…but Wendy, this is adorable. Even if he was a little angry at you, I don’t think he has it in him to hate you.
